Inquiry Science Learning through Technology

Want to learn how to integrate technology into the Science inquiry process? Sign up for ETD's elective - Inquiry Science Learning through Technology starting 18 July 2006.

This elective shows teachers how to use technology to facilitate pupils' learning in authentic contexts. Through the use of creative problem-solving and decision-making skills, pupils will be more engaged in learning.

The activities will facilitate independent learning, as pupils evaluate external sources of information and synthesize their findings. Pupil collaboration is also emphasised, as they work to come up with possible hypotheses, and produce blogs and podcasts as learning artefacts.
